For the convenience of the members of the Cathedral there are four chapels in the outlying areas. In the chapel at Kunnakkurudy East where the Cross is dedicated to the sacred memory of Parumala Thirumeni, the festival celebrations start on the last day of every October. The Airapuram chapel is also dedicated to Mar Gregorious (Parumala Thirumeni) and the festival is on the second Saturday of January. This chapel is to be renovated and a fund is being built up for the purpose; any contribution to the fund is most welcome. It may be sent to the Vicar of the church.
The third chapel is at Nellad in memory of St. Thomas and there is an annual festival celebration in the middle of April accompanied by the spiritual speeches and sermons leading to orientation. At the fourth chapel at Kunnakurudy west, the cross is in the name of St. Kuriakose and the festival celebration is in the middle of July. Besides the above chapels, there are stations where two holy crosses are installed. The cross at Nellad Junction is in the name of John the Baptist; there the festival celebration is on 2nd February every year. The second cross will soon be installed at Cheru Nellad in the name of St. Mary.Contributions for the completion of the installation are most welcome.

HOLY QURBANA & FESTIVALS
The Cathedral celebrates two festivals every year - one in the sacred memory of Yacoob Burdhana and in remembrance of the laying of the foundation stone of the present Cathedral building on the 20th November (Vrichikam 8).The other festival commemorates the patron saint of the Cathedral namely St. George on the 6th and 7th May every year.
